In Term 2, Grade 5/6 students studied the history of Hip-Hop music and its cultural significance. They learnt various rap skills and techniques and also had first-hand tips from local MCs Mantra, Grey Ghost and Class A during the hip-hop incursion. They combined all this knowledge and composed their own raps. With a focus on technology, students created their own backing tracks using the GarageBand software and rehearsed and recorded their raps on iPads. Check out some of these skillzz yo!
