Grades 1 and 2 have been busy this term learning how we can use words to learn rhythms. We used different pizza toppings as the words and we matched the syllables with traditional notation to make the rhythms. Then we composed our own pizza music using the pizza toppings! MAL WEBB Music Incursion!
We were soooooo excited to finally see Mal Webb perform his musical magic at Bell Primary School! We learned about how the voice can be used to produce many different sounds, some beatboxing techniques and tricks, and how to record sound with a loop pedal.
